Description: Casper Suite, Version 6: Self Service, GSX Integration and Zero Touch OS X Deployments
We look forward to you joining Chip Pearson as he demonstrates new features in Version 6 of the Casper Suite and advanced client management concepts used by both enterprise customers and education administrators. The Casper Suite simplifies the lives of system administrators with one tool to inventory, image, update, and maintain Macintosh computers. The Casper Suite also enables practices that improve the quality of IT while reducing the time and cost needed to provide support and solutions. In addition to increased efficiency for IT staffs, organizations can also achieve a reduction in liability related to license management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, security, and other regulatory concerns.
Technologies to be demonstrated are: - Self Service Model (new in Version 6) - Integration with Apple's Global Service Exchange (GSX) - Zero touch OS X deployments - Integration and automation of Software Update Server - Auditing and remediation of the Mac OS in the age of compliance
As always, the Casper Suite simplifies the lives of system administrators with one tool to inventory, image, update, and maintain Macintosh computers. The Casper Suite also enables management practices that improve the quality of IT while increasing efficiency, lowering costs, and enhancing the end user experience. At the same time, organizations are able reduce liabilities related to license management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, security, and other regulatory concerns.
